Washington State Incentives and Forms
Washington Renewable Energy Production Incentives - For typical solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems, Washington State offers between 15 to 54 cents for every kilowatt hour (kWh) produced by the installed PV system. The incentive rates are 15 cents per (kWh) for non Made in Washington PV systems and up to 54 cents per kWh with a Made in Washington solar panels and inverter system. To track incentive production, a production meter is typically installed for all PV systems installed in Washington State. The rebate is limited to $5,000 per year. After an approved electrical inspection, you need to certify your PV system with the State of Washington Department of Revenue (DOR) by filling out and sending in the Renewable Energy Annual Incentive Payment Application to the DOR.
